Early Decision Program

Steps At-A-Glance

Step 1: Submit an online Application for Admission

High school seniors must have completed Chabot's online application for admission in order to participate in the Early Decision program. The Summer/Fall 2010 Early Decision application deadline is Monday, March 15, 2010.

Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid by March 2, 2010 at www.fafsa.ed.gov

Attend Cash for College or FAFSA workshop at your High School or the Financial Aid Festival on February 27, 2010 at Chabot College. For more detailed information visit www.chabotcollege.edu/finaid .

Step 3: Complete English & Math Assessments

To continue in the Early Decision program, you must participate in scheduled English and Math assessments. Study guides are available online at www.chabotcollege.edu/counseling/assessment/studyguides.asp

Step 4: Complete Online Orientation

The Chabot College Online Orientation will be available for Early Decision students in April 2010. Upon completion of the orientation you will be ask to make your reservation (RSVP) for MEGA Day, May 8, 2010.

Step 5: Participate in Early Decision MEGA Day

Chabot College's Early Decision Mega Day Event will take place on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Chabot College. Counselors, Admissions & Records, Financial Aid, and staff will be available to assist you with program planning and class registration.

Step 6: Get a Student ID Card

Once registered into classes, students are eligible for a Chabot College student ID card. Registered students are required to carry valid student identification on campus. The student ID card is used for various services on campus and to obtain student discounts.

Step 7: Prepare for the first day of classes!
