Trends in High School Districts of First-time
College Students: Fall 1994-2001
| New first-time college students make up about 14 percent of the student body, and for the last 7 years they have come from a similar range of high school districts. Almost half of Chabot first-time college students went to high schools in the Chabot College District. Almost 20 percent came from high schools in other parts of Alameda County and about 16 percent came from other areas of California (such as Contra Costa county). Consistently, about 11 percent of new students went to high school in a different country. |
