The Student Satisfaction Survey
was conducted in October 2003 in a representative
sample of sixty-nine |
|
course sections and was completed by
1,560 students (55% full-time and 45% part-time). The main purpose |
|
of the survey was to collect student
feedback on satisfaction with Chabot academic and student
services, |
|
and campus climate. Questions were also asked about the
effects of budgets cuts on the students. |
|
The chart below displays the
survey items related to budget cuts.
Nearly half of the students reported that |
|
courses they needed were not available
this year. A slight majority of the
students indicated they had to wait |
|
a semester or more for a required
course. And because of fee increases,
half the students are working more hours. |
