| What are our Students Learning? | |||||||||||||
| In the Fall 2003 Student Satisfaction Survey, students were asked how much progress they had made | |||||||||||||
| at Chabot on a list of common learning outcomes from general education programs. Students reported the | |||||||||||||
| most progress on skills related to their capacity to think for themselves, work with others, learn on their own, | |||||||||||||
| and recognize their own potential. As we identify the types of overall learning outcomes with which we want | |||||||||||||
| students to leave Chabot, we will also be working on ways other than self-report to assess this learning. | |||||||||||||
| The Fall 2003 Student Satisfaction Survey was conducted in October 2003 in a representative sample | |||||||||||||
| of sixty-nine course sections and was completed by 1,560 students (55% full-time and 45% part-time). | |||||||||||||
