Current Magazines

Located  near the center of the main room, right behind the reference shelves, we have a rack of the latest issues of magazines for your research or reading pleasure.  The current issues of these magazines cannot leave the Library, but the Library does have earlier issues available to checkout from our Periodicals Desk.  Go to the right side of the Main Desk to look at earlier issues.

Right behind that rack, is a series of filing cabinets.  They contain articles, government documents, and pamphlets that librarians have collected and could be useful for your research.  Often, these rare published documents may not be available in our databases or on the Web.  So in addition to finding books from the Library Catalog and articles from our databases, take a look at what is in our Pamphlet Files.  These articles ARE available for checkout.  After finding your desired pamphlets, go to the right side of the main desk for check out. 

Pamphlet Files Subject Heading List
This is a list of the current subject headings used for the pamphlets.  We also have a card catalog above the Pamphlet Files where you can look up subject headings for these documents as well.  Pamphlet Files are NOT included in the Library Catalog.
