American Cancer Society
The ACS is an advocate for cancer patients and a source of emotional support for their families. This site provides a great deal of in-depth information, including a cancer glossary, statistics, a list of symptoms and treatments for a variety of childhood cancers. The news area carries stories on the latest scientific developments. The ACS also offers free materials about specific issues such a tobacco, breast cancer and radiation therapy.

Cancer Care, Inc
Oncology experts and cancer researchers compile the National Cancer Institute’s CancerNet. Clinical trials, the latest research, new drugs and innovations in medical technology are just a few of the topics that are covered in-depth for patients and health professionals.

Very extensive information about all aspects of breast cancer. Very readable. Includes information about cancer treatment, screening, prevention, supportive care and clinical trials.
Cancer News on the Net
For those who aren’t quite sure what information they need, this site can save dozens of aimless clicks. It gathers cancer news from numerous online publications and press releases and divides them into categories, including skin, breast and lung cancer. In addition to the news, there are other practical directories of prevention resources, support groups, books and events.

Information here is review is reviewed by oncology experts and is based on the results of current research. Its main area is Cancer Information, which includes types of cancer; treatment; prevention, genetics and causes; screening and testing; coping with cancer; support resources; cancer literature and Physicians Data Query, a database with the latest information about treatment, screening, prevention, and clinical trials.
