Citing Articles from Databases When you cite an article from EBSCOhost academic search premier, the ProQuest Diversity Databases, LexisNexis Academic or other article databases, you mainly need to do two things. 1. Cite the periodical article as you would if you find it in print. 2. Then state what electronic resources you got it from. |

According to the MLA The MLA requires you to state the database (the actual database, NOT the vendor), the Web identified as format, and the date the article was retrieved. |
