SERVICES FOR STUDY GROUPS
At Chabot College Library, we know often you are working in groups either to study for tests or working on projects. We are eager to support you either by supplying you study rooms or having a librarian provide you research assistance and instruction, just for your group!

SMALL GROUP RESEARCH AREA

The Library provides a unique area for groups working on research projects, available right behind the reference desk.

You will have a spot for your very own computer to perform your research together, a place to browse through books you may want to check out or reference books, and a librarian nearby ready and willing to help you with your research! Be sure to sign up for a time in the Group Study Rooms book at the reference desk. Be sure to sign up for a time in advance or come to the reference desk for librarian assistance!

GROUP STUDY ROOMS

Chabot Library provides three study rooms that groups of two or more people can sign up for up to a maximum of two hours a day.

A sign up book is available at the reference desk and you can sign up to a week in advance. You need to show up within five minutes after the time you signed up, otherwise that time is forfeited.

You need a study room now? If a room is not signed up, you can take the room, but after you sign up, otherwise the first group that signs up a vacant time gets the room!
