
Apply to the College — this may be done on-line or you may complete the section found in the class schedule. This application may be dropped off in person or mailed to the college.
Submit high school transcripts, college transcripts, and 2+2 forms if applicable.
Complete the assessment process — The reading requirements for the program texts are at college level. Students must have a strong mastery of reading, reading comprehension, and oral language. It is highly recommended that students take the English placement test to determine their level of English skills.
Attend an orientation session
Register for classes — This may be done in person or on-line (via CLASS-Web).
Pay fees — $20 per unit (for California residents)
Get Student ID card (for new students) — in Building 2300, Room 2361 (510)723-6749
Make an appointment with a counselor — (510) 723-7013 to complete a student education plan
