Fitness Center

The newly built Weight Room and Fitness Center, Building 4000, opened in the Spring 2012 semester.   The facility is a two story building with full weight room on the 1st floor and the Fitness Center with the machine circuit training over head.

The project cost about five million dollars roughly, with one million dollars for the new equipment.

New student or former student must complete an Application for Admission. You can fill out the Application; please allow two (2) business days for your online application for admission to be processed.  Once your application has been processed, you may Register online for one of the "PEAC FUN1 Beginning Functional Training" courses.

Orientation - (Rm 4051)

The new students must attend the Orientation on the 1st day of class.

  1. Enrolled in the class

  2. Be on time for the Orientation!!!  No one will be admitted late!

  3. Have student ID card:  You can get one at the Student Online Services , bldg 700,  Rm 709

  4. Be dressed to workout:
    Athletic shoes (no sandals or work shoes)
    T-shirt or long sleeve shirt (no tank tops or sleeveless)
    Shorts or sweat pants (no jeans or "short" shorts)
    Small hand towel to wipe down equipment

Fitness Center Hours

After you complete the Fitness Center Orientation, you can work out during the opened hours:

Monday thru Thursday:  6:00am - 1:30pm and 4:30pm - 7:30pm
Friday:                           6:00am - 12pm (Closed on Friday during Summer semester)
Saturday:                       7:30am - 10:30am
