Requirements for Orientation & Training
- You must be enrolled in the class in order to work out.
No exceptions!
- Come to orientation dressed for physical activity. Proper shoes (no sandals
or work shoes), T Shirt or long sleeve shirt (no tank tops or sleeveless).
Shorts or sweat pants (no jeans).
- Have a small towel.
- Have a heart monitor strap (can be purchased at the Chabot
Bookstore)
- Chabot Student
ID Card
- Bring your completed paperwork to the orientation.
- Know your target heart rate training numbers. Know your numbers
for 65%, 70%, 80% and 85% of your maximum heart rate. Figure this out by
finding your Target
Heart Rate Training Zones. A knowledge
and understanding of these numbers is vital for your improvement!
If you are missing any of the requirements above you will not be allowed
into orientation. Print this out as a reminder.
Do not come late! If you are late you will not be allowed
into the orientation.
Get a parking permit if you don't
already have one.
Once you have completed the Chabot Fitness Center Orientation you can come
and work out whenever the fitness center is open during normal Fitness
Center hours!
