Important student information

January 17, 2006 is the first day of instruction for the spring semester and will be the last semester for design classes at Chabot College. Students who took design classes in the fall of 2005 were alerted to the reality that program enrollments were not enough to sustain the program’s certificate or degree offerings. Current students may achieve spring design course outcomes but need to realize that design certificates or degrees are no longer an educational goal option.

There are some Chabot courses that offer computer design and drafting learning opportunities embedded within Machine Tool, Architecture, Engineering, and Interior Design. Please consult these program areas, the catalog, and the spring schedule for additional information.
