Chabot College Forensics Program
Forensics is not CSI. Forensics is defined by
Dictionary.com as the "art or study of argumentation and formal debate."
Communication Studies (COMM) 48 is the traveling, competitive, speech and
debate team. In this program, you will learn about Forensics and have the
opportunity to represent Chabot in intercollegiate competition!
Forensics is a co-curricular class with variable units.
Meaning: you can earn 1-4 units by participating in the program. Some team
members choose to be active with on-campus events, others choose to go to
local tournaments, and some members do both of those AND travel out of the
area to compete on a state and national level!
We welcome all levels - Come by our class meeting or
contact Director, Jason Ames for more information.
Class meets: Building 800, Room 810 - Tuesday/Thursday
12-1pm.
