COMPUTER SUPPORT (Call Helpdesk ext: 1715)

Chabot Computer Support (CCS) provides computer hardware, software, phone and network support to the Chabot College campus. We maintain assets and software licensing tracking to ensure all needs and legal requirements are meet. We are under the direction of the Vice President of Student Services, Dr. Howard Irvin.

CCS maintains the network, servers, phones, desktop and laptop computers for the administrative staff, faculty, and instructional areas at Chabot College. We provide support for both Mac OS X and Windows XP.

We administer and maintain the Chabotcollege.edu domain for the faculty and instructional networks. We provide network services such as: DHCP, DNS, Server Special applications and file storage for these subnets. We also administer and maintain the Chabot College web servers, and application servers supporting several instructional divisions at Chabot College.

Moves

Please notify computer support of any planned or current computer moves as soon as feasible. All computer and phone moves must be coordinated and initiated through computer support. This will facilitate an easy transition and limit delays due to wire problems. Please Call 925-424-1715, from on campus just dial x1715
