Early Decision Program 2017

Participating students are guaranteed Early Registration for Summer and Fall 2017.

Program components

High school seniors from local high schools (listed below) are invited to participate in Chabot's Early Decision Program 2017. Early Decision presentations will be offered in January and February 2017 at your school. The 2017 Chabot Early Decision application period opens on February 1, 2017. The deadline to apply for the Early Decision Program is February 28, 2017. Your high school counselor will be able to help you with your online application, or you can visit Chabot's Student Online Services (open Mon 8:30am-5pm, Tue/Thu 8:30am-7pm, Wed 8:30am-1pm & 3-7pm, Fri 8:30am-4pm) in Building 700, first floor for assistance with your Early Decision application.

High School seniors from non-participating/ out of area high schools please follow Chabot's New Student Process.

Participating students need to complete Chabot's math and English or ESL assessments and the new student online orientation by March 25, 2017. Please carefully review the Early Decision Steps.

Students, please take the assessment tests very seriously. You may only take an assessment once every six months. Your placement will influence how many math and English classes you will need to take to complete your goal and may affect how long you will be at Chabot College. Study Guides will help you prepare for the assessments.

Students who have COMPLETED ALL EARLY DECISION PROGRAM COMPONENTS will be able to register on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 before all other new students. Registration assistance workshops will be available at Chabot College from 8 to 10am. Please come to Building 700 and bring a photo ID.
