Process

STEP 1

Submit an online Application for Admission

Your Early Decision application workshop is scheduled for:

  • February 19, 2008, 7:30 AM - 12:45 PM at James Logan High School
  • February 20, 2008, 12:30 - 3:30 PM at James Logan High School

You need to apply online by March 17th  in order to participate in the Early Decision program at Chabot College. If you apply after this date, you will need to follow the regular new student admission process. Contact your Chabot Early Decision counselor if you have further questions about the admission process.

STEP 2

Complete English & Math Assessments

Your assessment for English and math is scheduled for:

  • April 1, 2008, 1:30 & 3:00 PM in the James Logan High School Computer Rooms
  • April 2, 2008, 1:30 & 3:00 PM in the James Logan High School Computer Rooms
  • ESL - April 9, 2008, 1:30 PM in the James Logan High School Computer Rooms

Your high school should release you from classes to participate in English and math assessment, if necessary. Please bring your assigned "W" student ID number and a form of photo identification such as a driver's license, state-issued ID or high school ID.

STEP 3

Complete Online Orientation

Online orientation should be completed by May 1, 2008.

AFTER assessment, complete the orientation online.

STEP 4

Participate in Early Decision Mega-Event

Be sure to attend Early Decision Mega Day on May 10, 2008 at Chabot College!

At Mega Day, you can:

  • Meet with a counselor
  • Register for classes
  • Learn about financial aid
  • Take a tour of the campus

STEP 5

Get a Student ID Card

After registering for classes at the Mega Day event, bring a printout of your class schedule and valid photo identification to the Photo ID Center for your Chabot College student ID card.

STEP 6

Prepare for the first day of classes!
