Use SafeAssign in two different ways:
SafeAssignment - Instructors can set up SafeAssignments in
their Blackboard courses (much like the Assignments feature). As students
submit papers, they are checked against SafeAssign's comprehensive databases
of source material. Student files, along with the results from SafeAssign
will be delivered to the instructor in the Gradebook.
SafeAssign: Demonstration of how students will submit a SafeAssignment
Direct Submit - Instructors may upload papers directly with the
Direct Submit feature, without student involvement. Direct Submit generates
SafeAssign reports on papers submitted outside of a SafeAssignment and
allows instructors to submit papers one-at-a-time or several at once (by
including them, in a .zip file). Supported file types include .doc, .docx,
.rtf, .htm, .html, .txt).
