Getting Started with Blackboard: The steps for setting up an account/site

Overview of the process:

Request enrollment into the online, self-paced, "Introduction/orientation to Blackboard" site through our updated support request form. Whether you are new to Blackboard or have taught with Blackboard at another college, this site will help you familiarize yourself with the system and Chabot- specific processes & support.
Review the content/complete the activities (1-3 hours).
Once you have reviewed the material, you will complete some simple activities within YOUR own Training Course.
After you have completed training, you will be directed to request "live" course sites, which are usually setup within 24 hours.
