Upgrade Schedule and Resources for Blackboard 9.1

 Our Blackboard server was upgraded from 9.0 to version 9.1 in June 2011. Blackboard 9.1 introduces a few enhancements and new tools, such as adding mashups (YouTube videos, Flickr photos and SlideShare presentations), wikis, and a file manager. The design and user interface remain the same, but now, you will have even more options to enhance student learning. 

Upgrade update: Our system will be upgraded from Service Pack 3 to Service Pack 5 beginning on Monday, January 9 (exact time tbd; most likely between 5pm and 7pm so as to prevent interference with the grades deadline. This upgrade contains minor bug fixes. The upgrade is expected to last approximately 15 hours, which means that the system will be unavailable for 15 hours.
