Geography
Chabot College offers an Associate in Arts Degree in
Geography to introduce students to principles, theory, and
applied
methods of spatial analysis in studying both the natural
and human environment. The program in Geography
is designed to develop the student’s awareness of humanenvironment
relationships and changes in the landscape
induced by human activities. Geographers pursue careers in
many diverse fields, including environmental
conservation,
land use planning, global change research, teaching, and
applications of geographic information systems.
