Kerry Krouse

Kerry Krouse was born in Natchez, Mississippi. After receiving her B.A. in Creative Writing at the University of Redlands, she attended St. Mary's College where she received her M.F.A. She has been teaching in the Bay Area for the past 10 years in the areas of Composition, Literature, Creative Writing, Visual Poetics and Collage. She has recieved awards from The Academy of American Poets and served as writer in residence at The Arad Arts Project in Arad, Israel. Her poetry and book reviews have appeared in both print and online journals such as The Southern Poetry Review, The Mississippi Review, Rattle, Lumina, and Linebreak. Her work has been anthologized in Appetite: Food As Metaphor, an anthology of women poets by BOA Editions.
