Carol Conway
Chabot College faculty member since 1976 in Computer
Science and Mathematics.
As of June, 2002 I am teaching on a part-time basis.
I specialize in C++, Java, Visual
Basic, C and Assembly language programming.

My outside interests
include choral and solo singing, bicycling, and cross country skiing. I have
sung with a number of groups including the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, and
have soloed or performed roles with several community choirs, churches and
theatre groups, as well as presented several solo recitals at Chabot College.
My husband and I have
bicycled in many parts of the Western United States, France, Northern Greece,
Holland, and Alaska. We love to travel and take our tandem bicycle with us
whenever we can.
My husband is a retired
Technical Writer, formerly with Lucent Technologies. My older son (UCSC
Computer and Information Science graduate) works for Credence Systems of
Fremont and Hillsboro,Oregon
as Principle System Architect. My
daughter-in-law (a Chabot alumna and CSUH honors graduate in Computer Science)
works for Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon as a Software Engineer.
My
younger son (Chabot alumnus, SFSU graduate in Communications, M.A. in
Environmental Policy from George Washington University) as a Data Analyst for
Terra-Lycos, the number four Internet portal company in the U.S.
