Overview:
This course introduces you to Adobe Photoshop, the software most often used by professionals for working with digital images. You'll learn how to create original images through the use of Photoshop's painting and drawing tools, and how to transform and improve existing images through the use of Photoshop's powerful editing tools. You'll also learn to use features such as layers, masks, and clipping paths to produce more advanced effects. Along the way, you'll acquire some basic computer and design skills, and you’ll become acquainted with some fundamental concepts of design and color theory.

Overview:
This course is intended for students who are already familiar with the basics of Adobe Photoshop and want to move to the next level. It covers some of Photoshop's more advanced features, such as automation, filters, and complex layer combinations. It also introduces the special skills and background information you need to prepare images specifically for print publishing or for inclusion on a website. Emphasis throughout the course will be on doing careful, well-designed, attractive, professional-quality work.
