I activated my Chabot Debit Card, but I see a $ 00.00 balance when I log in to chabotdebitcard.com.

The money that is deposited into your Chabot Debit card is your financial aid refund ($ you were awarded based on your financial aid). Two reasons why you may see that balance may be because:

1. You have not submitted all the requirements needed for us to process your financial aid.

or

2. You've submitted your financial aid documents recently but your documents  have not been processed. On average our office takes 2-4 weeks to process paper work. We process paper work in the order of when it is received.

It is important that you apply for financial aid early, and submit all the required documents on time so that you may not have financial difficulties.

**Students may check their financial aid status by logging into CLASSWeb.***

I already have a bank account, can I just have my financial aid refund deposited there?

Yes.   In order to have your financial aid refund deposited to your bank, first activate your refund preference with the Chabot Debit Card as soon as you receive it by visiting www.ChabotDebitCard.com .  During the activation of your refund selection, select ACH transfer (to other bank) for your financial aid refund preference and simply complete, print, and mail the required third party form to the designated address.
