The Chabot College Foundation proudly presented its second “A Blooming Affaire” event, a fundraising program to benefit the Nursing and Interior Design Programs. As in "A Blooming Affaire 2004", this event again featured a variety of beautifully designed tables.
Friday evening’s cocktail reception gathered nearly 300 guests who enjoyed "Diamond Martinis", a fun silent auction, cool jazz and a host of food and drink. Dr. Harry & Mrs. Isobel Dvorsky were honored for their many contributions to our communities.
For the Saturday festivities, we had internationally renowned floral designer Ron Morgan as our guest speaker. He presented live floral demonstrations during the luncheon. Mr. Morgan wowed our audience with his quick wit, sense of humor and floral design expertise.
Again, a BIG THANK YOU for the generous support of our patrons, sponsors and enthusiastic volunteers who helped us exceed our budgetary projections. A big round of applause also goes to Event Chair Tamara Papazian and her committee. All of you made "A Blooming Affaire" a blooming success!
