Thank you for visiting our web page. Chabot's Grant Development Office works
with faculty, staff, and administrators to research, develop, and write proposals
that advance the mission and strategic plan of Chabot College.
Staffed by a full-time Grant Developer/Writer, the office provides the following
services to the campus community:
- Federal, state, and foundation funding research
- Research college needs and funding priorities as guided by strategic
plan
- Dissemination of funding resources and information via periodic e-mail
alerts and grants newsletter
- Ongoing maintenance of a grants library
- Proposal development and writing
- Proposal review and editing
- Scheduling and facilitation of project planning meetings
- Staff development workshops on grant preparation and writing
- Facilitation of college/district grant approval and signature process
- Proposal duplication and submission services upon request
- Community partnership building in support of grant development
- Coordination of the Chabot Grants Subcommittee which reports to the
Institutional Planning & Budget Council
