Request for a student TA / staff / instructor to access my Blackboard site

Prior to requesting student TA access, please read our policy on Student TA access & training, enrolled student confidentiality & privacy, and campus liability

Your Information

Course and student/staff/instructor information (To ensure that we provide access to the correct site, and if the site has already been created, please go to the Control Panel of your course site and copy the Course ID at the top (Example: "C2007Su-ENGL-1A-013-12445") into the field for Blackboard Course ID).

Name of person you want to provide access:

What role / level of access do you want them to have?

Regular student access, same as all of your enrolled students.

Course Builder: Intended to assist in the creation of content, especially within the Test Manager, Pool Manager, and Survey Manager, but ideal when student privacy of grades is a concern because they have no access to the Gradebook, Course Statistics, or Messages.

Grader: Intended to assist in the creation, management, delivery, grading or evaluating online assessments and surveys, but they do not have access to the Content Areas or Staff Information, Tasks, Discussion Board, Send E-Mail, Collaboration, Messages, Glossary Manager. Note: Due to potential access to student information, this level of access is only for faculty (not students).

Basically the same level of access as an instructor, but the benefit of assigning this role is that TA will not receive emails sent by students via the "Send Email" which are intended for the instructor. Note: Due to potential access to student information, this level of access is only for faculty (not students).

(same as you). Intended for instructors who are team-teaching but for whatever reason were not officially listed in Class-Web. Note that if students use the "Send Email" function, this person may receive the same emails intended for you. Note: Due to potential access to student information, this level of access is only for faculty (not students).

Additional Options (not required)Date must fall on a MTuWeThF and time must be between 9am and 4pm (can be more than one day). ITC staff will make access changes as close to the specified time as possible, but we may not be able to meet the times exactly. If a Date/time range is not indicated, the person you want to have access will be provided access as soon as the ITC staff process your request. The user will have access indefinitely unless you let us know using our Help Form.
