WRAC Center Tutors
WRAC Center tutors are instructor-recommended
Chabot students, who have demonstrated strong reading and writing skills. The
most valued characteristic of a good tutor is his or her ability to work well
with others.
Tutors are required to enroll and
attend a weekly tutor-training course,
English 15, taught by the WRAC Center
Coordinator. It is in this course that tutors learn the theory and practices of
peer tutoring, which will enable them to successfully assist students with their
reading and writing needs.
