The Learning Connection - Math Lab

Earning Credit through Math 122

Enroll in Math 122 via the college registrar. Math 122 may be taken for 0.5 or 1 unit of credit. You must be enrolled in a regular math class at Chabot to receive credit for Math 122.

1 Unit Enroll in Math 122-001. Lab attendance must average at least 3 hours per week (48 hours total for the semester). Grades are CR/NC and count for minimum progress only.

0.5 Unit: Enroll in Math 122-002. Lab attendance must average at least 1.5 hours per week (24 hours total for the semester). Grades are CR/NC and count for minimum progress only. This is a good option for night students or anyone enrolled in a three-unit class.

To get credit, use the lab any hour it is open. Always log in on the logging (timekeeping) computer when you arrive at the lab, and log out when you leave.

Your hours are recorded and tallied by the computer and used to assign credit at the end of the semester.

If you withdraw from your regular math course, remember to withdraw from Math 122 as well. If you remain enrolled in Math 122, you can end up with a "W" or "NC" if your hours are low.
