Book Drops Map  

The Library is OPEN Mondays to Thursdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the first three weeks of the semester. To look at TENTATIVE hours for the spring semester, please go to our Hours page. Services for the spring semester will likely still be limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. You will need to wear a mask and practice social distancing. The computer lab will be open, but no group study space is available this semester.

When the Library is physically closed , we are still open with resources 24/7! Please use our ONLINE RESOURCES AND USE CHAT REFERENCE.

LAPTOPS AND HOTSPOTS FOR SEMESTER LENGTH CHECKOUT

Returns-- On the left is an icon to the map of our Book Drops. You may return Chabot Library books and DVD's to the book drops.  No late fees will be charged.  For help with returns please contact rbelcher@chabotcollege.edu, stran@chabotcollege.edu, or blewis@chabotcolege.edu.  You may also leave a voicemail message at (510)723-7513 and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Please do not place laptops or hotspots in the book drops; instead contact edishman@chabotcollege.edu to coordinate those returns.  You can also leave a voicemail message at (510)723-6766 and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

If you owe the bookstore a textbook you rented DO NOT PUT IN THE LIBRARY BOOKDROPS. The bookstore should have contacted you and provided you a mail label and directions on how to mail that textbook or return to the bookstore when it is open.
