Online Learning / BlackboardBlackboard: How to Clear Browser Cache SettingsDue to recent server maintenance or other changes, sometimes a user who goes to the Blackboard login page sees "Page Not Found," or "URL Not Found," or "This system is momentarily unavailable." Often the solution is simply to clear your browser cache. Clearing your cache can significantly improve the speed and performance of your browser. The following procedures provide steps to clear the cache memory for a variety of browsers. Internet Explorer 7.0 for PC 1. From the top menu bar, click Tools, and select Internet Options. Internet Explorer 6.0 for PC 1. From the top menu bar, click Tools, and select Internet Options. Firefox for PC 1. From the top menu bar, cick Tools and select Options. Internet Explorer 5.0 for PC 1. From the top menu bar, click Tools, and select Internet Options. Netscape 6.x and 7.x for PC 1. From the top menu bar, click Edit, and select Preferences. Netscape 6.2 for Mac 1. From the top menu bar, click Edit, and select Preferences. Netscape 7.x for Mac 1. From the top menu bar, click Edit, and select Preferences. Safari 1.0 for Mac 1. From the Safari menu select Empty Cache. Firefox for Mac Mozilla 1.4 for Mac 1. Click Edit, and select Preferences on the menu bar. |
