*PACE Evening/Saturday Degree & Transfer Program
PACE: Program for Adult College Education
Earn your A.A. Degree in:
- Liberal Arts Option I (AA/GE) or II (CSU/GE), Emphasis 3:Social and Behavioral Sciences
- Behavioral Sciences (one additional class in Area D or B of Grad. Requirements is required)
- Early Childhood Development (General
Education classes may be taken via PACE, ECD classes outside of
PACE)
- Business Administration (General
Education classes may be taken via PACE, Business outside of
PACE; see separate "PACE for Business Majors" handout)
- Nursing (General Education classes may
be taken via PACE prior to Nursing Prerequisite Sciences, which
must be taken outside of PACE; separate Nursing Application is
required prior to Admission to Chabot Nursing Program, which is
a full-time daytime program. See separate "PACE for
Nursing Majors" handout)
Then transfer to CSUEB PACE for a B.A. Degree in:
- Human Development
- Interdisciplinary combination of Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology fields
- Leads to jobs working with people of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds
- Business Minor or  is available in Summers (Micro & Macroeconomics are needed outside of PACE)
- Offered in Online or “live� in Hayward or Concord
- Liberal Studies
- Well-rounded college education useful for jobs in business, government
- Can lead to a Multi-Subject Teaching Credential for K-8 gradesÂ
- Business or Human Development Minor or Organizational Leadership Option available (Micro & Macroeconomics. are needed outside of PACE for Business Minor)
- Leadership in Hospitality & Leisure Services
- Classes offered online or “live� in Hayward or Concord
- Become qualified managers in the tourism and leisure industry.
OR transfer to any CSU for a B.A. or B.S. Degree
in a major of your choice (classes in your major outside of PACE will be required; in some
cases you can use your major classes in place of some PACE classes)
OR transfer to a B.A./B.S. Accelerated Program including:
- Holy Names College (Oakland) Majors in: Bus. Marketing, Info Tech, Management, Communication, Humanities, Human Services, Liberal Studies, Psych.
- Menlo College(Atherton, SF) Majors in: Management with option concentrations in Human Resource Management, Info Systems, or International Management
- St. Marys (Moraga) BA in Leadership & Organizational Studies (Science OR Math required to graduate)
- University of Phoenix (Oakland, Fremont, Pleasanton, SF, San Jose, Walnut Creek, Online) Majors in: Business/Accounting, Administration, e-Business, Management, Marketing, Criminal Justice Admin, Info Technology
University of San Francisco (SF, San Ramon, Oakland, Cupertino) Majors in: Info Systems, Organizational Behavior, Applied Economics, Public Administration, Law Enforcement Leadership, Nonprofit Administration
