FRISBIE THIRD IN STATE 800
Chabot freshman David Frisbie took third place and freshman sidekick Jordan Kirby was seventh in the men's state 800 meters at the CCCAA State Championships Saturday at American River College.
Freshman Ari Milton notched a pair of sixth-place finishes in the women's 100 hurdles (14.78) and triple jump (11.68m/38-4 feet).
Frisbie's 800 time of 1:53.08 put him just behind runner-up Joshua Silva of Riverside. DVC's Antwuin Prowes took first in 1:52.53. Kirby was timed in 1:56.17 in the East Bay-powered race.
Chabot's Bret Greene finished ninth in the men's 10k. His time of 33 minutes, 11 seconds put him just four seconds away from the top eight and a spot on the medal stand.
