Crime Statistics
In 1998, the federal government passed The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus
Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, formerly The Student Right
to Know Act of 1990. This law requires colleges and universities receiving
federal funding to disclose the reported instances of criminal activity on
their campuses.
