Identify the set of improved skills in observing the world, and in analyzing problems in space.

Assess the usefulness of the technologies of Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing in observing and modeling physical processes GEOG 1, 2, 19 GEOG 1L GEOG 20, 21, 22
Outcome 2:
Identify techniques in observation that could be used to recognize and/or classify a roadside landform and rock type. GEOG 1 GEOG 1L GEOG 1* * mastery of observation techniques in geographic field work is not expected or achievable at the lower division level.
Outcome 3:
demonstrate a competent level of proficiency in the spatial overlay of themes, the design and production of map layouts, and the analysis of geocoded database information GEOG 1L GEOG 20 GEOG 21, 22
