Scholarships

  • AFCEA Military Personal/Dependents Scholarship: https://www.afcea.org/education/scholarships/undergraduate/military.asp
    The AFCEA Educational Foundation is dedicated to providing support to U.S. military personnel and their dependents.  Merit-based scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded to persons on active duty in the uniformed military services, to honorably discharged U.S. military veterans (including Reservists and National Guard personnel), disabled veterans, and to their spouses or dependents who are currently enrolled full time in an eligible degree program at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the U.S.

    Merit-based scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded to honorably discharged U.S. military veterans (including Reservists and National Guard personnel) and disabled veterans of Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan and Iraqi Freedom Operations who are currently enrolled either part time or full time in an eligible degree program at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States.

    The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is the nation's oldest and largest need-based scholarship organization supporting U.S. military families.   
  • Marylou Cisneros Memorial Veterans Scholarship: http://www.chabotcollege.edu/studentlife/awards/
    This scholarship was created to honor the memory of Marylou Cisneros, Chabot College Veterans Specialist. The purpose of the fund is to help a veteran or active member from a branch of the United States Armed Forces continue their educational pursuits. This scholarship application will be distributed with the Chabot College ASCC Scholarship packet in Spring and will adhere to their deadline dates and criteria for submission. The scholarship will be awarded at the ASCC Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony in May.

    The Pat Tillman Foundation is a national leader in providing resources and educational scholarship support to veterans, active service members and their spouses. The Tillman Military Scholars program aids all veterans, specifically the ever-growing population of veterans of Post-9/11 conflicts.
