How does Early Decision work?

  1. A Chabot College counselor will come to your school between October 2018 and early February 2019 to provide an overview of the program and information about Chabot College. Check when we visit your school.

  2. Apply online to Chabot College starting October 1, 2018 through February 22, 2019. Be sure to apply for Fall 2019 (or Summer 2019, if you plan to start in summer) and answer the Early Decision question in the supplemental portion of the application.

  3. After you receive the email with your student ID number (W#):

    • Complete online orientation

    • Starting February 4th, 2019, call the Assessment Center to make a reservation for the First Semester Planning Session. Course placement and group counseling support will be provided.
      • Call 5107236722 Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 911am & 25pm or Wednesday from 9-11 am. If you reach the answering machine, please hang up and call again.

      • Bring your photo ID and if available your high school transcripts.

  4. Attend Early Decision Registration Day on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Chabot College. Register* for your Fall classes with support from counselors, staff, and peers. Participate in student-life activities. Parents, caregivers, family, and friends are welcome!
