What's Your Chabot Story?

After having my last child I decided to pursue my dream of getting my degree in Criminal Justice to make a difference in children's lives that have been abused. I struggled through some personal issues at home that made me second guess about finishing my degree but I pushed through and stayed enrolled at Chabot to get it done. I wanted to show my children that dedication and education is key to their lives. I wanted to make them proud. I chose Chabot College because I heard they had a great Administration of Justice Department.

How did Chabot influence your life and career?

Chabot has been a great influence to my life. I have gained great experience by being a part of the Law & Justice Club and gained many friendships that I truly treasure. All the education I have gained from classes and experiences is something that I will hold dearly in my heart for years to come. The Administration of Justice Department was a huge impact on my life and career path; with out their guidance I would not be graduating or transferring this semester.

Why should anyone transfer?

I believe transferring and continuing to get your higher degree is a huge stepping stone. Do not stop at one stepping stone, keep achieving the highest achievement that is out there for you. Education should not stop at one level, keep going.

Shout Outs and/or Words of Wisdom?

My shout out would go to the whole Administration of Justice Department; with out them I would not be where I am today. I am beyond thankful for them. Words of wisdom: just because you hit a rough patch, do not give up- you are stronger than what you are facing.
