The Interior Design Program is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and has been selected by the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA) as a Founding Member School.

The Interior Design Program offers you a choice for entry into a four-year college program, the interior design industry, and internship opportunities. As a NKBA Affliated school, our program leads students on the path of becoming a certified kitchen and bath design professionals.

Students will aquire an understanding of:

• Building materials and construction
• Space planning
• Conventional and computer aided drafting

Our program focuses on the impact interior design has on individuals, familes, and communities.

POTENTIAL CAREERS

Interior Design

  • Interior Designers – Plan, design, and furnish interior spaces to meet aesthetic, functional, and safety requirements for clients.
  • Furniture Finishers – Repair, refinish, and apply protective coatings to wood furniture to restore or enhance its appearance.
  • Set and Exhibit Designers – Create detailed designs for sets, displays, or exhibits used in entertainment, museums, or events.
  • Lighting Designer – Design and control lighting systems to enhance visibility, mood, and visual impact in spaces or productions.
  • Kitchen and Bath Designer – Plan and design kitchen and bathroom layouts, selecting materials and fixtures to meet client needs and building standards.
