CCN: Common Course Numbering
Same Courses, New Numbers!
The new Common Course Numbering (CCN) system is a statewide effort to make it easier for students to transfer between community colleges and four-year universities. It ensures that similar courses across California Community Colleges have the same course number.
How to Search and Register for the CCN Courses
Starting Fall 2026, seven more Chabot College courses will adopt the common course number.
