Hiring Students

Participate in Work-Based Learning

Work-based learning (WBL) activities consists of various types of engagement activities with the college. Here are some examples:

  • Speak at an event
  • Host a Company Tour
  • Collaborating with instructors on class-project ideas
  • Providing career mentoring to a student
  • Giving informational interviews
  • Offering a workplace experience for a student
  • Providing a job shadow opportunity

Additionally, you can complete our Employer WBL Form. By completing this form, you will be in our employer WBL database which can be accessed by the Career Center as well as other campus departments/programs. Therefore, if a WBL activity is developed and our campus is seeking employer participation, you can be contacted if you are in our database.
