Hiring Students
- The 1st recommendation is to register with our online job board (College Central Network). Once registered, you can post your jobs and internships for students to find. There is a registration approval process and for more information, visit our Online Job Board Approval Policies.
- The Career Center hosts one career fair per semester. Employers registered with our job board will receive the career fair email announcement which includes a link to the career fair interest form. Not all employers that complete the form will be selected to participate, for more information, visit our Career Fair Employer Selection Criteria. For information about what you can expect if selected to participate, review our FAQs for Employer Career Fair Participants.
Participate in Work-Based Learning
Work-based learning (WBL) activities consists of various types of engagement activities with the college. Here are some examples:
- Speak at an event
- Host a Company Tour
- Collaborating with instructors on class-project ideas
- Providing career mentoring to a student
- Giving informational interviews
- Offering a workplace experience for a student
- Providing a job shadow opportunity
If interested in participating in WBL activities, view the list of WBL activities seeking employers webpage.
Additionally, you can complete our Employer WBL Form. By completing this form, you will be in our employer WBL database which can be accessed by the Career Center as well as other campus departments/programs. Therefore, if a WBL activity is developed and our campus is seeking employer participation, you can be contacted if you are in our database.
