Drop-in Counseling is best suited for the following topics:

  • Support and questions regarding your academic goals
  • Academic/Progress Probation 1
  • One semester academic planning (SEPA) 
  • Submitting counseling forms - for example: 
    • Excess units
    • Petition to repeat
    • Prerequisite overrides & challenges
    • Prerequisite challenges
    • Substitution waivers

How to Drop-in

Drop-In availability is based on first-come, first-serve.

Come in person to building 700, second floor, at room 752 during service hours. See service hours

OPTION 2:

How to Schedule an Appointment

 

OPTION 1:

Schedule your 30-minute appointment online using eSARS

*⚠️1-hour appointments (2+ semester planning, financial aid appeal, evaluations of transcripts from other colleges, probation 2/dismissal) must be scheduled by step 2 & 3. Please do not book a 30-minute appointment for these services.

OPTION 2:

Come in person to building 700, 2nd floor, at room 752 during service hours. See service hours

Appointment Options and Services

Appointments are available for either in-person or online.

An appointment session is up to 60 minutes.

Topics for appointments are:

  • Personal/emotional concerns 
  • Academic Standing: Probation 
  • Evaluation of progress toward graduation or transfer
  • Associate Degree and University transfer planning
  • Career/Major Exploration
  • Evaluating a transcript from another college 
  • Course Planning, 3 or more semesters (SEP)​ comprehensive
