Hi there! I've been at Chabot College, working in the Learning Connection as both a Staff Assistant and Senior Administrative Assistant, since 2009. I received my BA in Linguistics and Spanish (concentration in Hispanic Languages, Linguistics, and Bilingualism) from UC Berkeley and my MA in English Composition from San Francisco State University. I am a firm supporter of lifelong learning, and I've taken classes in Business and Digital Media here at Chabot to further my own knowledge and learning as an administrative assistant. I am the TUTR 1A/B instructor, in addition to being a part-time instructor for English. When I'm not working or in class, I enjoy being outdoors and traveling. One of my "bucket list" items is to visit every National Park; so far, I've been to 16 of 63! I'm hoping to visit Lassen, Joshua Tree, and Channel Islands soon to complete all the National Parks in California.
