Dr. Omolara has a PhD in Ecology and Environmental Science from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2014. She also taught in the same University as a Senior Lecturer. Between 2019 and 2021, she was an Affiliate Post-doctoral Researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, California.
Dr Aladesanmi has about two decades experience, spanning the Academia, Industry and Consultancy, working in the areas of Eco-risk Assessment & Remediation, Environmental Stewardship and Compliance. She has taught and mentored diverse students and early career scientists.
She is an alumnae of the TechWomen Fellowship, an Initiative of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. She is a Certified Senior Ecologist, Ecological Society of America; Certified Erosion, Sediment & Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI); Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Professional (QSP) and OSHA-Hazwoper. Dr. Omolara has well cited scientific publications.
