Mandana Abedini is an ESL instructor at Chabot College, specializing in curriculum design and writing pedagogy. She holds a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) and an M.A. in TESOL. Her research focuses on the intersection of linguistics and technology, specifically through Dynamic Written Corrective Feedback (DWCF) and the development of AI literacy frameworks for composition students. Mandana’s teaching is rooted in social justice and student-centered pedagogy. She views language learning as a tool for equity and is committed to creating inclusive classrooms that respect and empower students' diverse cultural backgrounds. Outside of academia, she is a yoga instructor, painter, camper, and hiker. She is currently studying French and enjoys traveling with her family.
