Jeremiah Jenkins

Jeremiah Jenkins is a multimedia artist living in the Bay Area since 2005. Originally from North East Tennessee, he began his ceramic practice among traditional potters of the area. He has built and fired wood kilns throughout the area, including for the Seagrove Pottery Center in Seagrove NC. His pottery combines traditional American and Japanese aesthetic styles often with comic imagery. He is also known for his conceptual sculpture and performance art. He has a BFA from East Tennessee State and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.
