Module 4: Finding Articles

This module covers how to use library subscription periodical databases to identify articles on a subject.

After completing this module you should be able to:

  • distinguish between popular and scholarly periodicals
  • choose a database appropriate to your information need
  • use a database to identify an article on a topic
  • Read a citation correctly from a database
  • use a database's email function to send a record to yourself
  • search the journal portal to locate the periodical that contains your article

Time: This module should take you about thirty-five minutes.
