Types of articulation
Courses may have one or more types of articulation. Not all courses will qualify for all areas below.
- Electives: Courses that may be applied towards unit requirments for admissions and/or a degree
- General Education (GE): Courses accepted toward GE requirements
- CSU GE Breadth
- IGETC for CSU and UC
- Department: Comparable courses between two colleges
- For UC and CSU, see ASSIST
- Major: Lower division* courses for a major
- For UC and CSU, see ASSIST
- C-ID (Course Identification Numbering System): Course designations for many commonly offered
community colleges courses. Applies to CSU transfer only.
