Counselor Center Academic Overview

We also offer academic courses and programs that prepare students for meaningful careers in counseling, therapy, social work, and wellness. Students can:

  • Become a Certified Wellness Coach
  • Earn degree or certificate in Human Services or Social Work
  • Prepare for employment in schools and community organizations, or
  • Transfer to four-year colleges and universities to continue their studies.
    Students who earn the AA-T in Social Work and Human Services are guaranteed admission to a California State University in a similar major.*
