Work-Based Learning Activities Seeking Employers
The following are work-based learning (WBL) activities from other campus departments/programs and they are seeking employer participation. These WBL activities will be updated on this webpage whenever a new activitiy is under planning. Additionally, we may not be able to fulfill all participation requests, but we will stay in touch to see where else we can connect you.
STEM Speaker Series | Hosted by STEM Center
This is a series of events hosted by the STEM Center.
They are seeking 4 speakers, one in February, March, April and May. Preferred dates to be on Thursdays, 12pm-1pm, Zoom or in-person.
Speakers would talk about their field. Prefer speakers from biology, environmental, sustainability, medicine, and other areas of STEM. At the moment, not needing speakers in engineering.

Jumpstart Your Career: Job & Internship Search Workshop | Hosted by the TRIO program and Career Center

Participate in-person at Chabot campus or by Zoom
The workshop is for students in TRIO and special programs to learn tips for job searching and be aware of available jobs/internships. You will be a co-speaker or be on a panel to give your job search tips. Additionally, you can promote your jobs/internships.

Women in Entrepreneurship Career Event | Hosted by the Women's Group in Chabot
Tentative dates for March 30, 2023
11am-2pm in the Event Center
The 1st hour of this event will be a panel, followed by each panelists having a table for people to visit them for questions or talk about any jobs/internships you have available. The focus will be on women in entrepreneurship.
